A worm is a program that is self-replicating . It replicates itself using a network and sends copies of itself to other computers and it can do this without any user intervention. Unlike virus, it does not require to attach itself to an existing program. Worms almost always networks by giving un necessary traffic and such out lot of bandwidth .
